Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering and Research (SAMEER) has issued two official recruitment notifications, Advt. No. 10/2026 & Advt. No. 11/2026, covering 174 contractual vacancies. SAMEER is an autonomous R&D society under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India. Mumbai/Navi Mumbai has 140 posts, while 34 posts are at the SAMEER Kolkata centre for the “Mission Mausam” Microwave Radiometer project, funded by the India Meteorological Department. Available positions are Project Engineer, Project Scientist, Project Scientific Assistant, Project Technical Assistant, Project Fellow, Project Manager, and Project Executive. SAMEER Vacancy 2026: Total 174 Posts
- Required qualification: B.E. / B.Tech with min. 55% marks in Electronics / ECE / EXTC / Instrumentation / CS / IT / Electrical / Mechanical / Biomedical OR M.Sc Electronics / MCA.
- For Senior Project Engineer, the requirement is B.E./B.Tech plus 3 years experience OR M.E./M.Tech/Ph.D.
- Required qualification: Diploma in Electronics / ECE / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering OR Diploma / B.Sc in Physics or Chemistry / Chemical Engineering, securing min 55% marks.
- Candidates must have passed the relevant ITI (NTC) trade—Electronics Mechanic, Fitter, Turner, Machinist, or Electrician—and hold a valid National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC).
- ITI + NAC together must cover at least 2 years.
- B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc is required, along with compulsory M.E./M.Tech or Ph.D. in the relevant discipline and experience of 2 to 4 years. For Project Fellow, a Ph.D. in the specified domain is required.
- Required qualifications are B.Com / B.Sc / B.A / BBA and full-time MBA / MMS, with minimum 55% marks. English typing must be at a speed of 35 wpm. For Project Manager, B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc plus MBA and post-MBA experience of 3 years are required.
- Graduation must be in B.Com / B.Sc / B.A. Proficiency in MS Office is required, and English typing at 35 words per minute is mandatory.
