- Candidates must have passed Matriculation / 10th Standard through a recognized institution or board.
- A training certificate covering at least 05 days is required from the Directorate of Agriculture & Horticulture, Department of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry & Cooperative, Jharkhand. Priority will be given to candidates whose training exceeds 5 days.
- Candidates must be skilled at bicycle riding and tree climbing for the qualifying physical test.
- Knowledge of the local language is required.
- Permanent/local residence in Seraikela-Kharsawan District is required for the candidate.
