How to write it
- In your own handwriting, in English, and not in capital letters.
- Black ink on plain white paper. LIC AAO and Maharashtra TAIT also accept blue ink.
- Fill a space about 10×5 cm, then photograph or scan it in good light.

What is the handwritten declaration text for IBPS?
I, __________ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required. IBPS RRB uses the same text with "submit" in place of "present".
Is the SBI declaration different from the IBPS one?
Yes. SBI adds your date of birth and ends with "The signature, photograph and left-hand thumb impression is of mine" (SBI Clerk says "left thumb"). Copy the SBI text above for SBI PO and Clerk forms.
What size should the declaration image be?
800×400 pixels, which is 10×5 cm at 200 DPI, as a JPG between 50 and 100 KB. IBPS, SBI, RBI Assistant, LIC AAO, NIACL, SEBI, NABARD and FCI all ask for this. RBI Grade B gives only the 50–100 KB range.
Can I write it in capital letters or in Hindi?
No. These notifications want it in your own handwriting, in English and not in capital letters, and IBPS treats a declaration written by someone else or in another language as invalid. MP Police is different: it asks for its own Hindi text.
What if I cannot write?
IBPS lets a candidate who cannot write get the text typed and put their left-hand thumb impression below it. RBI and Maharashtra TAIT allow the same for visually impaired candidates.
Is my declaration uploaded?
No. Cleaning and resizing happen in your browser, and the image never leaves your device.
