- A full-time, Four-year Engineering Degree (B.E. / B.Tech / B.Arch) is required in any of these branches: Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Signal & Telecom, IT, or Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering.
- General/EWS candidates need at least 60% aggregate marks; SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD candidates need at least 50%. The passing date must be on or after 05.11.2021.
- A full-time, Three-year Graduation Degree (B.A. / BBA / B.Com / B.Sc / BCA) is required in either Finance (21) or HR (22).
- General/EWS candidates need at least 60% marks; SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates need at least 50%. The passing date must be on or after 05.11.2021.
- An Engineering Diploma of Three-year duration, completed full-time, is required in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering.
- General/EWS candidates need at least 60% marks; SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates need at least 50%. The passing date must be on or after 05.11.2021.
- Candidates must be full-time ITI Pass-out from NCVT / SCVT in any of these trades: Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Welder, Fitter, Turner, Plumber, or Surveyor.
- General/EWS candidates need at least 60% marks, while SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates need at least 50%.

Selection Process & Merit Criteria

ITI candidates must register at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in on the NAPS portal. Find the establishment “RITES Limited”, then apply for the opportunity in the relevant trade.
- Step 2 (Submission on the RITES Portal): Once you have applied on NATS/NAPS, open apprentice.rites.com/ApprenticeForm/, the official RITES portal.
- Fill in your personal particulars, location preferences, educational marks, and NATS/NAPS registration number.
- Combine all mandatory documents into one PDF file and upload it (Maximum size: 10 MB): Semester/year-wise marksheets along with the final Degree/Diploma/ITI passing certificate. The university/institution's formula for CGPA to percentage conversion (if applicable). Date of Birth proof (10th marksheet / Aadhaar card / Driving license). Photo Identity Proof using Aadhaar / Voter ID / Driving License. A Caste / EWS / PwBD Certificate in the prescribed format of the Government of India (the OBC-NCL certificate must be issued on/after 05.11.2025).
