NICL Graduate Apprentices Recruitment 2026 OUT - Apply Online 200 Posts
An official notification from National Insurance Company Limited (NICL), working with the Board of Practical Training (Eastern Region) - BOPT (ER), announces the engagement of 200 Graduate Apprentices. The one year training comes under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS). Eligible candidates with a regular Bachelor’s degree in any discipline can submit their applications online through the NATS 2.0 portal. Applications open on 04 November 2026 and close on 18 November 2026. NICL Apprentice Vacancy 2026: Total 200 Posts
- The qualification required is Graduation (Bachelor’s Degree), with any discipline accepted. It must be a Regular / Full-time course from a recognized University / Institution with recognition from AICTE / UGC / DOTE.
- As on 01.04.2026, candidates must have passed the qualifying degree and hold its certificate.
- The student profile must be 100% complete on the portal for NATS 2.0 (nats.education.gov.in).
- Ineligibility: Those holding a Post-Graduate Degree (PG) or an Integrated PG course are NOT eligible. Those with post-qualification job experience of 1 year or more in the Govt/Private sector as on 01.04.2026 are also NOT eligible. This also applies to candidates who have already undergone or completed apprenticeship training elsewhere.
- Applications for vacancies are allowed in ONE STATE only.

NICL Apprentice 2026: Selection Process
- The Board of Practical Training - BOPT (ER) shortlists candidates strictly according to their marks percentage in the qualifying Graduation Degree examination.
- Selection does not include a written test or an interview.
- If candidates have the same graduation percentage, the older candidate gets a higher position on the merit list.
- Invitations for physical Document Verification (DV) will reach shortlisted candidates through their registered email ID. DV will take place at designated National Insurance Company Limited offices.
How to Apply Online for NICL Graduate Apprentice Recruitment 2026
- Open nats.education.gov.in, the official portal for National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS 2.0).
- If you have not registered, choose “Student Register”. Complete enrollment by providing valid details of your personal information, education and Aadhaar-seeded bank account.
- Make your student profile 100% complete. Check that the graduation percentage and the degree documents have been updated accurately.
- Use your registered Student ID / Email and Password to log in to your NATS portal candidate account.
- Open the section labelled “Apply against Advertised Vacancies / Search Establishment”.
- Find the establishment by entering NATIONAL INSURANCE COMPANY LTD as its name. Alternatively, search directly with EWBPNC096867 as the Establishment Enrollment ID.
- Choose the State in which you want training. Candidates may apply for one State only.
- Choose “Apply”, then submit the online apprenticeship application on or before the deadline of 18 November 2026.
- Save a screenshot or take a printout of the page confirming application submission. Keep it for future reference during document verification.
