RRB JE Preparation Tips 2026
| Start with the syllabus | First understand the CBT 1 subjects and then focus on the Technical Abilities section for CBT 2. |
|---|---|
| Prepare a subject-wise timetable | Technical Abilities carries 100 out of 150 marks in CBT 2, so give proportionally more preparation time to your branch subjects. |
| Practice previous year papers | Solve RRB JE PYQs to understand question difficulty and recurring topic patterns. |
| Take sectional mock tests | Practice topic-wise and sectional tests regularly to identify weak areas. |
| Revise General Science and General Awareness | Keep regular revision sessions for these subjects throughout your preparation. |
| Practice with negative marking | Since 1/3 mark is deducted for every wrong answer, learn to avoid low-confidence attempts during timed mock tests. |
