NIFT Registration 2027 Link, Exam Dates, Apply Form Fees and Eligibility
For the Academic Session 2027-28, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the admission notification representing the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) regarding the National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Examination (NIFTEE)-2027. Admissions are open for Undergraduate (B.Des, B.F.Tech), Postgraduate (M.Des, M.F.M, M.F.Tech), NIFT Lateral Entry Admissions (NLEA), Artisans, and Ph.D. programmes. Across 100 cities throughout India, this national-level test is scheduled to take place on 10 January 2027 through Computer Based Test (CBT - GAT) along with Pen-and-Paper Based Test (PBT - CAT) formats. From 16 October 2026 until 16 November 2026, eligible candidates may register online at exams.nta.nic.in/niftee/. How to Apply Online for NIFT Entrance Examination 2027
- Go to the designated NTA NIFTEE online portal at exams.nta.nic.in/niftee/ or open nift.ac.in.
- Press the active link labeled “NIFTEE-2027 Online Registration”.
- Enter an active Mobile Number and Email ID to create your login Password along with an Application Number.
- Carry out Aadhaar-based e-KYC verification, then provide your Programme, Academic, and Personal details.
- Attach scanned copies of all needed files: a freshly taken colour photograph of passport-size plus a live webcam/mobile photo, your clearly scanned signature in JPG/JPEG format, any applicable Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS), and an authentic UDID Card for PwD/PwBD candidates.
- Use the preview window to double-check every entry thoroughly prior to your final submission.
- Remit the prescribed application fee through digital channels using Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI.
- Save a digital copy and take a printout of the NIFTEE 2027 Application Form Confirmation Page to keep for future admissions steps.
- Finalise and send the application form on or before 16 November 2026 (or by 21 November 2026 by paying a ₹ 5,000/- late fee).
