Indian Coast Guard (Ministry of Defence) has released the notification for the Coast Guard Enrolled Persons Test (CGEPT) for Batches 01/2027 & 02/2027. Applications are invited from eligible Male and Female Indian candidates for the recruitment of Navik (General Duty), Navik (Domestic Branch), Yantrik (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics), and Hygienist-I. Eligible candidates can submit their online applications from 06 October 2026 (11:00 AM) to 21 October 2026 (05:30 PM).

Indian Coast Guard Vacancy Details: Total 365 Posts
- 10+2 (Intermediate) passed with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by COBSE.
- Both Male and Female candidates are eligible.
- Class 10th passed + Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics / Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering (03 or 04 years approved by AICTE). OR
- Class 10th & 12th passed + Diploma in relevant engineering branch (02 or 03 years).
- (Only Male candidates can apply for Yantrik posts).
- Class 10th passed from an education board recognized by COBSE. (Only Male candidates).
- Matriculation (10th) OR ITI OR equivalent from a recognized board/institute. (Only Male candidates).
How to Apply Online for Indian Coast Guard CGEPT Recruitment 2026
- Visit the official portal of Indian Coast Guard / SSC at joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in or ssc.gov.in.
- Register yourself by providing an active personal Email ID and Mobile Number. Note that each candidate can apply for only one post in a recruitment cycle.
- Fill in personal details, educational qualifications, address, and select your preferred post according to your qualifications.
- Upload your live photograph (captured using the webcam with face detection during registration) and scanned signature in JPG format.
- Upload scanned copies of required documents including 10th/12th mark sheets, Diploma certificate (if applying for Yantrik), Identity proof (Aadhaar/PAN/Voter ID), Domicile certificate, and Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS).
- Pay the application fee of Rs. 550/- online (Exempted for SC/ST candidates).
- Select 5 examination city preferences for Stage-I and Stage-II.
- Review the application preview carefully and submit the form before 21 October 2026 (05:30 PM). Download and take a printout of the submitted application form for all future stages.
