- Candidates must have passed Class 12th with both subjects, Physics and Mathematics. Their board must have recognition from the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
- Candidates must have passed Class 10. Their board must have recognition from the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
- Candidates must have passed Class 10 through a COBSE-recognized board. They must also have completed a Diploma of 3 or 4-year duration with approval from AICTE in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering.
