Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur) has released the official notification and launched the application portal for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2027. IIT JAM 2027 is conducted for admission to M.Sc., Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree, and other postgraduate programmes at IITs, IISc Bengaluru, NITs, and other participating institutes. Eligible undergraduate students and final-year appearing candidates can apply online through the JOAPS portal at jam.iitkgp.ac.in from 05 September 2026 to 12 October 2026. The entrance exam will be conducted on 14 February 2027 (Sunday).

How to Fill IIT JAM 2027 Online Application Form (JOAPS)
- Visit the official IIT JAM portal - jam.iitkgp.ac.in.
- Click on “JOAPS 2027 Candidate Registration”.
- Register with your Name, valid Email ID, Mobile Number, and create a Password to generate your Enrollment ID and OTP.
- Log in to JOAPS using your Enrollment ID / Email and Password.
- Fill in personal details, qualifying degree marks, choose 1 or 2 test papers, and select preferred exam cities within your zone.
- Upload required scanned documents: Passport-size color photograph (JPG format). Candidate signature in black ink (JPG format). Class 10th (SSC) Marksheet / Date of Birth proof (PDF). Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS) / PwD Certificate (if applicable).
- Pay the examination fee online through Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI.
- Submit the online form before 12 October 2026 and download the completed application summary for your records.
