Office of the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, West Bengal & Sikkim Region has released the Income Tax Sports Quota Recruitment 2026 Notification for 82 vacancies of Tax Assistant (TA) and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) under the Department of Income Tax. The recruitment has been announced as per the provisions contained in DOPT OM No. DOPT-1720781414772 dated 04.03.2024. Eligible sportspersons can apply in the prescribed format within the specified date.

- Sportspersons who have represented a State or the Country in National or International competition.
- Medal winners in Junior National Championships.
- Medal winners in Khelo India Youth Games (age category above 18 years).
- Medal winners in Khelo India Winter Games.
- Medal winners in Khelo India Para Games.
- Medal winners in Khelo India University Games.
- Medal winners in School Games Federation of India (SGFI).
