The Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) has released a vacancy notification for the recruitment of 01 Junior Hindi Officer (Class-II) on a regular basis by Direct Recruitment. Eligible candidates who possess a Master’s degree in Hindi/English and relevant experience can apply offline using the prescribed application format. Age Limit (As on 01.09.2026)
- Upper Age Limit: 35 Years
- (55 years for existing Officers/employees of Major Port Authorities possessing prescribed qualifications).
- Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India Guidelines.
Salary / Pay Scale
- Scale of Pay: Rs. 40,000 - 1,40,000/-
- (Pre-revised Rs. 16,400 - 40,500 / 8,600 - 14,600).

| Master’s Degree from a Recognized University in Hindi with English as a subject at the Degree level OR Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as a subject at the Degree level OR Master’s Degree in any subject with Hindi and English as subjects at the Degree level. | |
| Experience | 5 (five) years experience of terminological work in Hindi and/or translation work from English to Hindi or vice versa (preferably Technical/Scientific literature) OR 5 (five) years experience of Teaching, Research, Writing, or Journalism in Hindi. |

- Download the prescribed application format (Annexure-I Bio-Data Form) attached to the official notification.
- Fill the application form clearly with your personal, educational, and experience details. Paste a recent passport-size photograph in the designated box.
- Enclose one set of self-attested copies of all documents in chronological order (from SSC to Highest Degree, Experience Certificates, PWD Certificate, etc.) along with 2 (two) Passport Size Photographs.
- If you are working in Central/State Govt, PSU, or Autonomous Bodies, enclose a “No Objection Certificate” (Annexure-II) from your current employer.
- Place the application and documents in an envelope and superscribe it as: “Application for the post of Junior Hindi Officer (Class-II) Under DR in Visakhapatnam Port Authority”.
- Send the hard copy via post/courier to: The Secretary, Visakhapatnam Port Authority, Administrative Office Building, Port Area, 1st Floor, Visakhapatnam - 530 035.
- Ensure the application reaches the specified address on or before 28 October 2026. Late applications will be summarily rejected.
