District Court, Varanasi has issued a notification for the re-employment/re-engagement of retired court employees against various vacant posts in Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’ categories. Eligible retired personnel from the District Court who are under the age of 65 years can submit their offline application forms to the designated office on or before 31 October 2026.

• The remuneration will be fixed as per the rules of the Honorable High Court and Government guidelines (Last Pay Drawn minus Pension).

Varanasi District Court Vacancy Details 2026: Total 108 Posts

• Only Retired Employees of the District Court are eligible to apply.
• The candidate must have retired from the same or relevant post.
• Age must not exceed 65 years.
• The applicant must have a clean service record with an annual confidential report proving good character.
• Must provide a notary affidavit stating that no criminal case is pending against them and they have never been convicted.

How to Apply Offline for Varanasi Court Recruitment 2026

1. Interested retired employees must download the official notification and print the prescribed application form attached to it.
2. Fill in the application form manually with correct details such as the applicant’s name, father’s/husband’s name, date of birth, gender, last post held and pay scale, permanent address, and mobile number.
3. Affix a recent passport-size photograph in the designated space on the form.
4. Attach a self-attested photocopy of the Pension Payment Order (PPO) or Pension Authority Letter.
5. Attach a notary affidavit clearly stating that no criminal case is pending against you in any court and you have not been convicted or punished in any criminal case.
6. Attach any other necessary documents like a fitness certificate and Aadhar/Voter ID card.
7. Sign the declaration at the bottom of the application form.
8. Submit the completely filled application form along with the attachments to the Chief Administrative Officer, District Court, Varanasi on or before 31 October 2026 till 04:00 PM. Applications received after this date and time will not be accepted.
