UPSC ESE 2027 Notification OUT For 480 Posts Engineering Services Examination Apply Online
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for the Engineering Services Examination, 2027 (Advt. No. 02/2027-ENGG). Eligible candidates holding an Engineering Degree can apply online from 16 September 2026 to 06 October 2026. The Preliminary Examination will be held on 31 January 2027.

Age Limit (As on 01.01.2027)
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
- (Candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 1997 and not later than 1st January, 2006).
- Age relaxation is applicable as per UPSC ESE 2027 rules.
UPSC ESE 2027: Vacancy Details & Eligibility
- Passed / Appearing Engineering Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in relevant trade/discipline from any recognized University in India.
- OR Passed Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India).

How to Apply Online for UPSC ESE 2027
- Visit the official UPSC online application portal at upsconline.nic.in.
- Candidates must complete the Universal Registration Number (URN) / One Time Registration (OTR) profile if not done earlier.
- Log in and complete the Common Application Form (CAF) and the Exam Specific Module for ESE 2027.
- Live Photo Capture: Applicants are required to upload their photograph and also capture a live photograph while filling up the form.
- Upload clear scanned copies of your signature and a valid Photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card is strongly advised for seamless verification).
- Pay the requisite application fee of ₹200/- (if applicable) before the deadline on 06 October 2026.
- Verify all details before the final submission, as no modifications are allowed after submission (only a one-time URN profile edit is permitted).
- Print a copy of the final submitted application form for future reference.
