The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC), Prayagraj has released the official notification for the Uttar Pradesh Special Teacher Eligibility Test (UP Special TET) 2026 for Primary (Classes 1 to 5) and Upper Primary (Classes 6 to 8 / Special Education) levels. Candidates possessing Graduation with D.El.Ed / BTC / B.Ed / B.Ed (Special Education) / B.El.Ed or appearing in the final year can apply online from 5 September 2026 to 4 October 2026 at upessc.up.gov.in. The UP Special TET examination is scheduled to be held on 3 November 2026.

How to Apply Online for UP Special TET 2026
- Visit the official UPESSC online application portal: www.upessc.up.gov.in.
- Click on the link titled “UP Special TET Examination 2026 Online Registration”.
- Choose the paper level you wish to appear for (Paper-I Primary / Paper-II Upper Primary / Both Papers).
- Complete candidate registration by entering Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Category, Mobile Number, and Email ID.
- Fill in academic qualification details (Graduation, D.El.Ed, B.Ed, or Special Education Course & RCI Registration details if applicable).
- Upload scanned images of your recent passport-size colour photograph and clear signature in the prescribed format.
- Pay the required application fee online through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
- Review the complete application form in the preview window and click Submit before 04 October 2026.
- Download and take a printout of the final submitted confirmation page for future reference.
