| Degree | B.V.Sc & A.H / B.V.Sc with at least 60% marks or its equivalent grade. |

| PG Degree | Master’s degree in the concerned / relevant discipline with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent. |
| Registration | Must possess a valid registration certificate with the State Veterinary Council / Veterinary Council of India (VCI). |
| Desirable | Candidates who have qualified NET (ASRB/ICAR/UGC/CSIR) or SLET/SET will be given preference. Working knowledge of Tamil is desirable. |
