Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official recruitment notification for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination 2026 (SSC CHSL 2026) for 2,536 Vacancies of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) / Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Data Entry Operator (DEO), and Data Entry Operator Grade ‘A’ across various Central Government Ministries, Departments, and Offices. Candidates who have passed Class 12th (Intermediate / 10+2) and are aged between 18 to 27 years (as on 01.08.2026) can apply online on the official SSC portal at ssc.gov.in from 07 September 2026 to 07 October 2026.

How to Apply Online for SSC CHSL 10+2 Recruitment 2026
- Visit the official portal of Staff Selection Commission: ssc.gov.in or open the official mySSC App on your smartphone.
- Complete One Time Registration (OTR) on the new SSC portal (Note: Old OTR from ssc.nic.in is not valid).
- Candidates are advised to opt for Aadhaar Based Biometric Authentication during OTR.
- Log in using your registered Registration Number and Password.
- Navigate to “Latest Notifications” and click on “Apply” under “Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination 2026”.
- Fill in educational details, select 3 exam center preferences in the same region, and choose medium for CBE exam and Typing test (Hindi in Mangal font or English).
- Live Photo Capture: Capture a real-time live photograph through web camera or mobile app in good light with plain background (without cap, mask, or spectacles).
- Upload scanned signature in JPEG format (10 to 20 KB, dimensions: 4.0 cm x 2.0 cm).
- Pay the nominal application fee of ₹100/- online (exempted for all Female, SC, ST, PwBD, and ESM candidates).
- Preview all details, submit the application form on or before 07 October 2026 (23:00 Hrs), and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.
