The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released an important official notice regarding the Tier-I Examination schedule for the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL), 2026. As per the latest notice (F.No. HQ-EC033/7/2025-EC) dated 12.09.2026, the SSC CGL Tier-I Computer Based Examination (CBE) will be conducted from 30 September 2026 to 30 October 2026 for approximately 12,256 Group B & Group C vacancies. How to Download SSC CGL Tier-I Admit Card / Check Status 2026
Candidates who applied for the SSC CGL 2026 can check their application status and download the admit card (once released) by following these steps:
- Visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission at ssc.gov.in or your respective SSC Regional Website (e.g., SSC NR, SSC CR, SSC ER, etc.).
- On the homepage, navigate to the “Admit Card” section.
- Click on the link flashing for “Status / Download Admit Card for Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-I), 2026”.
- You will be directed to the login portal. Enter your Registration ID / Roll Number and Date of Birth as required.
- If you don’t have the registration number, you can also search using your Name, Father’s Name, and Date of Birth.
- Submit the details and check your exam date, shift timings, and exam city.
- Download the SSC CGL Tier-I Admit Card (available 4 days before your exact exam date) and take a clear printout to carry to the examination hall along with an original Photo ID proof.
