SMC Sports Coach Recruitment 2026 OUT - Apply Online
Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) has released a notification for the recruitment of Honorary Coaches on an 11-month contractual basis for various sports at the Navagam Dindoli Sports Complex in the South East Zone. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online through the official SMC website from 15 October 2026 to 24 October 2026.

Age Limit
- Maximum Age Limit: 50 Years

- The recruitment is purely on an 11-month contractual basis.
SMC Surat Coach Vacancy 2026: Total 08 Posts
| Option 1 | NIS or equivalent degree OR a 6-month course passed from the Sports Authority of India, Gandhinagar AND a minimum of 1-year experience as a coach. |

| Option 2 | B.P.Ed. / D.P.Ed. / M.P.Ed. qualification and a physically fit gymnastics teacher. |
| Option 3 | SSC Pass AND participation at the National/State level in the relevant sport OR 2 years of experience as a coach. |
| Note | Candidates who have won medals at the National or State level in any of the respective sports will be given preference in selection. |
How to Apply Online for SMC Surat Coach Recruitment 2026
- Visit the official website of the Surat Municipal Corporation at suratmunicipal.gov.in.
- Go to the Recruitment/Careers section and read the official notification carefully to check the detailed eligibility criteria.
- For User Registration, enter your valid Email Address and Mobile Number. Verify your mobile number using the OTP received.
- Complete your Account Creation by filling in your First Name, Last Name, and creating a Password. Click on Submit.
- Login to the portal using your credentials. Navigate to your User Profile and fill in all mandatory personal details, address, and known languages.
- Under the ‘Educational Qualification’ tab, enter your exact degree details, university name, and percentage/grade.
- Under the ‘Experience Details’ tab, fill in your coaching experience, duration, and institution name.
- Upload a clear, recently scanned Passport Size Photograph (Max 150 KB) and Signature (Max 50 KB) in JPG/PNG format.
- Review your filled application form using the preview button. Once satisfied, click on Confirm Application before 24 October 2026 (11:00 PM).
