| Casual News Reader / News Anchor | Degree from a recognized university; proficiency in the concerned language; camera-friendly appearance with a good broadcasting voice; correct pronunciation, accent and modulation; knowledge of current regional/Indian/foreign affairs; acquaintance with important personalities in the region, India and abroad. Preferable: journalism background, related professional/academic background, TV/Radio media experience. Desirable: knowledge of English and Hindi, ability to interview people, ability to write and report news including sports. |
| Assistant News Editor (Editorial Assistant) | Degree from a recognized university; Degree/Diploma in Journalism from a recognized university; minimum 3 years’ experience in work relating to news broadcasting/news organization. - Download or prepare the application in the prescribed format given at Annexure A of the notification.
- Attach copies of required documents: certificates of educational qualification, proof of age, proof of residence, and experience certificate (where applicable).
- A separate detailed CV may also be submitted along with the prescribed format, if more detail is needed; however, submitting the prescribed proforma is mandatory.
- Place the application and documents in an envelope superscribed “Empanelment of (Name of the position) for RNU, DDK, Guwahati”.
