Abu Observatory, Rajasthan. Eligible candidates can register online by 30 September 2026 and appear for the Skill Test on 15 October 2026.

- M.Tech in Physical Sciences / Astronomy / Applied Physics / allied streams with 60% or more marks. OR
- B.Tech in Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical / Industrial Production / Computer Science / Instrumentation / allied branch with 60% or more marks. OR
- M.Sc. in Physical Sciences / Applied Physics / Electronics / Astronomy / Instrumentation / allied streams with 60% or more marks.
How to Apply & Attend Skill Test for PRL Trainee 2026
- Interested candidates must register online using the Google Form link provided in the notification (Link) by 17:30 on 30 September 2026.
- Registered candidates must report in person for the Skill Test verification process between 09:30 AM to 11:30 AM on 15 October 2026. Candidates reporting after 11:30 AM will not be allowed.
- Venue for Skill Test: Main Gate, Physical Research Laboratory, Hill View Bungalow, Gora Chhapara, Mount Abu, Sirohi-307501, Rajasthan.
- Candidates should bring two photographs for the offline verification form.
- Bring all original certificates & Xerox copies pertaining to date of birth, educational qualification, experience (if any), and caste for verification.
- Travelling Allowance: Outstation candidates (outside Mount Abu) shortlisted for the Skill Test shall be paid to and fro Travelling Allowance (Railway Sleeper Class/ Ordinary Bus fare) by the shortest route subject to the production of tickets.
- Note: Candidates are advised not to bring any electronic gadgets/mobile/laptop/smart watch etc., while appearing for the Skill Test.
