How to Apply Online for OPTCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026
Applications must be submitted online in two stages. Please follow these steps:
- Stage 1 (Portal Registration): For Degree & Diploma Apprentices (including Non-Engineering), register on the NATS 2.0 portal at nats.education.gov.in to generate an enrolment number. For ITI Trade Apprentices, register on the NAPS portal at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in. Ensure your Aadhaar is seeded with your bank account for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
- Stage 2 (OPTCL Website Application): After generating the registration/enrolment number from the NATS/NAPS portal, visit the official OPTCL website at optcl.co.in. Navigate to HRD Section → Training & Development → Advertisement for Engagement of Apprentices 2026. Click on the “Apply Online” link. Fill in all the required details properly and upload the necessary documents. Submit the application before the closing date: 01 October 2026 (11:59 PM). Take a printout of the finally submitted application form for future reference.
