The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Kurukshetra has released an official recruitment notification for the engagement of Junior Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer (Electrical) on a temporary/contractual basis. A total of 04 vacancies have been announced. Eligible candidates with a B.E. / B.Tech degree or First Class Diploma in Civil/Electrical Engineering and aged up to 35 years can attend the Walk-In Interview and Document Verification scheduled on 24 September 2026 at NIT Kurukshetra.

Walk-In Interview Procedure & Important Instructions
Candidates who wish to attend the walk-in interview for the Junior Engineer posts should follow the instructions given below:
- Download and carefully read the official notification and prescribed application format from the NIT Kurukshetra official website (nitkkr.ac.in).
- Fill out the application form completely with correct personal, academic, and technical qualifications.
- Report at the designated interview venue at NIT Kurukshetra strictly as per the reporting time on 24 September 2026.
- Carry all original documents for verification: proof of Date of Birth (10th marksheet), 10+2, Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech Degree and semester-wise mark sheets, valid Category/Caste Certificate (if claiming reservation), experience certificates (if any), and a valid government photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card, Passport, PAN Card, etc.).
- Bring one complete set of self-attested photocopies of all certificates along with the filled application form.
- Keep at least 2 to 4 recent passport-size photographs ready for submission during registration formalities.
- Candidates arriving after the reporting time may not be permitted to register for the interview.
