The National Institute of Technology Calicut (NIT Calicut), Centre for Continuing Education and Skill Development (CCESD), Ministry of Education, Government of India, has released an official recruitment advertisement (Advt. No. NITC/CCESD/NATS/AT/2026/003) for the engagement of 30 vacancies of Graduate and Technician (Diploma) Apprentice Trainees for the year 2026-27 under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Candidates who completed their Degree or Diploma on or after 01 January 2022 can apply online on or before 21 October 2026.

Eligibility Conditions & Selection Process
- Only candidates who have obtained the prescribed qualification in regular mode on or after 01st January 2022 are eligible.
- Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training or have signed an apprenticeship contract under NATS are not eligible.
- Selection Procedure: Applications received will be scrutinized, and candidates will be shortlisted based on academic merit/percentage of marks.
- Shortlisted candidates may be called for Document Verification and/or Written Test and/or Interview as decided by NIT Calicut.
- All correspondence will be communicated strictly via Email.
- Final confirmation of training is subject to the execution of an apprenticeship contract approved on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal.
