NFR Sports Quota Result 2026 Out Download Sports Persons Eligible and Not Eligible List
The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR), Railway Recruitment Cell has released the provisional list of Eligible and Not Eligible candidates for the Sports Quota Recruitment 2026-27 under Employment Notification No. 04/2026. The lists, covering the sports disciplines of Basketball and Cricket, were issued on 11 September 2026. Candidates who applied can check their status. Those marked as “Not Eligible” can submit a representation via email along with supporting documents before the deadline on 13 September 2026 (05:30 PM).

How to Check Your Name in the NFR Sports Quota List 2026
Candidates can check their application status by following these steps:
- Download and open the official PDF file of the Eligible or Not Eligible list from the official NFR website (links provided below).
- Use the Ctrl+F shortcut or PDF search tool to search for your Application Number (format: NFRBS… for Basketball, NFRCR… for Cricket) or Name.
- Check your Serial Number, Eligibility status, and read any Remarks mentioned against your name.
- If you are marked eligible with a specific remark, ensure you keep the requested document ready for later submission during the sports trial / document verification.
- If you are marked not eligible, carefully read the reasons in the remarks column and follow the process below to submit a representation.
How to Submit a Representation Against Ineligibility
Candidates who believe they have been wrongly marked as “Not Eligible” can appeal against the decision by submitting a representation:
- Email ID for Representation: Send your appeal to [email protected].
- Deadline: Your email must be received on or before 13 September 2026, 05:30 PM (17:30 hrs).
- Attachments Required: Attach a copy of your submitted application form along with clear scanned copies of supporting documents that prove your eligibility against the remarks.
- Important Note: Representations received after the deadline will strictly not be entertained. Also, no additional/new applications will be accepted at this stage.
