ICAR-National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources (NBPGR), New Delhi, has invited eligible candidates to attend a “Walk-in-Interview” for the recruitment of Senior Research Fellow (SRF), Young Professional-II (YP-II), Project Associate-I, Project Associate-II, and Laboratory Assistant in various externally funded projects. Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can appear for the walk-in interview on 15 October 2026 at the designated venue in New Delhi.

ICAR-NBPGR Vacancy 2026: Total 10 Posts
- Master’s degree in Biotechnology/Agriculture/Botany/Genetics/Life sciences/related subject with 4 or 5 years of Bachelor’s Degree. OR
- PG degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree + NET qualification + 2 years of research experience.
- Master’s degree in Biotechnology/Agriculture/Botany/Genetics/Life sciences/related subject OR Professional Graduate degree (4 years duration) in Agricultural Sciences/biotechnology.
- Master’s degree in biotechnology/agriculture/bioinformatics/related subject OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology.
- Master’s degree in biotechnology/agriculture/bioinformatics/related subject OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology.
- Experience: 2 years’ experience in Research and Development.
- B.Sc. / graduate degree in science.
