The KSRTC-SWIFT (Kerala State Road Transport Corporation - SWIFT), a Government of Kerala enterprise, has released an official recruitment notification (Notification No. KS-GL01/17/2026-GL-K-SWIFT) for the engagement of 1040 vacancies for the posts of Driver, Conductor, and Driver-cum-Conductor on a contract / daily wage basis for operating long-distance buses. Educational Qualification & Physical Standards Criteria
| Driver (385 Posts) | Must have passed Class 9th from a recognized Board / Institution. Must possess a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving Licence (Mandatory). At least 7 years completed after obtaining driving licence, with a minimum of 3 years holding a Heavy Motor Vehicle licence (Relaxable for ex-servicemen who obtained heavy driving licence during defence service). Driving licence must carry endorsements for Heavy Goods and Heavy Passenger vehicles. Must possess original valid driving licence during the Ground Test and Road Test. Knowledge of minor vehicle repairs and maintenance is desirable. |
