IOCL Bongaigaon Apprentice Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online 58 Trade, Technician Apprentice Posts
Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Bongaigaon Refinery has released a notification for the engagement of 58 Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973. Eligible candidates with a B.Sc or Diploma in relevant engineering disciplines can apply online through the official IOCL and NAPS/NATS portals. The online application process is open from 28 September 2026 to 18 October 2026.

Selection Process
- No Written Test.
- Selection will be based strictly on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed educational qualification (in descending order).
IOCL Bongaigaon Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Vacancy Details & Eligibility
- 3 years B.Sc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry).
- Training Period: 12 months.
- 3 years B.Sc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry).
- Training Period: 24 months.
- 3 years Diploma in Instrumentation Engg / Instrumentation & Electronics / Instrumentation & Control Engg / Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering.
- Training Period: 12 months.
Note: Candidates who have completed Apprenticeship Training earlier, or have job experience for one year or more after qualification, are NOT eligible to apply.
How to Apply for IOCL Bongaigaon Refinery Apprentice 2026
- Registration on NAPS/NATS Portal: Candidates must first register themselves on the respective apprenticeship portals. For B.Sc trades (Code 101 & 103), register on the NAPS portal (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in). For Diploma trade (Code 107), register on the NATS portal (nats.education.gov.in). Ensure your profile is 100% updated.
- Apply to the Establishment: Login to the NAPS/NATS portal and apply for the apprenticeship opportunities specifically under the Establishment ID of Bongaigaon Refinery.
- Fill Microsoft Form via IOCL Website: After successfully applying on the NAPS/NATS portal, visit the official IOCL website www.iocl.com.
- Navigate to ‘What’s New’ > ‘Engagement of Apprentices at Bongaigaon Refinery 2026-27 (II)’.
- Click on the link “Click here to submit additional information on Microsoft forms” to fill and submit the mandatory Microsoft form.
- Completion of both steps (NAPS/NATS registration & filling the Microsoft form) is compulsory. Incomplete submissions will be rejected.
- Use the same active email ID and mobile number across all portals. The deadline to complete this process is 18 October 2026 (05:00 PM).
