The Defence Institute of High Altitude Research (DIHAR), DRDO has released the official notification for the recruitment of 17 vacancies for the posts of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Research Associate (RA). Eligible candidates can attend the walk-in-interview on 14 October 2026. Candidates aged up to 28 years for JRF and 35 years for RA with relevant Engineering / Research qualifications can participate in the interview at the designated venue.

Eligibility Criteria
| Junior Research Fellow (JRF) | B.E / B.Tech in first division with valid GATE score OR M.Tech in first division at both Graduate and Post-graduate level in relevant subjects (CS/IT, Mechanical, ECE, EEE, etc.). |

| Research Associate (RA) | 3 years of research, teaching or design or development experience after M.Tech with at least one research paper in SCI journal in relevant subjects (CS/IT, ECE, EEE, etc.). |
