The District Mission Management Unit (DMMU), WBSRLM & District Rural Development Cell (DRDC), Birbhum, West Bengal has released an official recruitment notice (Memo No. 3289/III-93/DMMU/Birbhum) for the empanelment of 28 vacancies of Block Level Mentors for the Enterprise Finance Scheme under WBSRLM across 19 blocks of Birbhum district. Eligible candidates including graduates with computer diplomas, ex-bankers, DLTs/BLTs, CAs, MBAs, or active SHG members who are permanent residents of the respective block can submit their offline application form at the concerned BDO Office on or before 30 October 2026 (05:00 PM).

Age Limit (as on 01/01/2026)
- Minimum Age Limit: 25 Years
- Maximum Age Limit: 45 Years
- Candidate’s age must be between 25 to 45 years as on 01 January 2026.
- The applicant must be a valid and registered voter as per the current electoral roll.
Eligibility Criteria

Target Profiles / Who Are Eligible
- Ex-banker and empanelled BRP from public or private sector banks having at least 5-7 years of relevant field experience in micro or small enterprise segment in rural areas; OR
- Empanelled block/district level trainers (DLTs/BLTs), Chartered Accountants, Cost Accountants, MBA graduates conversant with bank functioning for micro-enterprise loans; OR
- Active women Self Help Group (SHG) member for the last 3 years in the same block from the date of issue of notification.

- Graduate Degree & above from a recognized University.
- Diploma & above in Computer Application.
- Permanent resident of the respective applied block.
- Ex-Banker / BRP (5-7 yrs exp) OR DLT/BLT / CA / CMA / MBA / Graduate conversant with bank micro-enterprise loans OR Active woman SHG member for last 3 years.
- Registered voter in the current electoral roll.

How to Apply for WBSRLM Birbhum Block Level Mentor Recruitment 2026
- Download the prescribed application format from the official website: birbhum.gov.in or obtain it from any Gram Panchayat / Block Office (NRLM Section) under Birbhum District.
- Fill in the application form carefully with all required details.
- Attach self-attested copies of testimonials supporting educational qualifications, computer diploma certificate, experience certificates, proof of age, voter ID card, and residential proof.
- Place the completed application form along with all enclosures in a sealed envelope.
- Drop the application into the designated sealed Drop Box at the Office of the Block Development Officer (BDO) under Birbhum District (at NRLM Section) of the concerned block on any working day between 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Ensure the application is submitted on or before 30 October 2026 (05:00 PM).
