- First Class Post Graduate Degree in M.B.A / B.E. / MRTM (Master of Rural Technology and Management) / Mathematics / Physics from a recognized university.
- M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT) OR MCA OR Equivalent degree from a recognized university. OR
- B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science / IT or Equivalent degree.
- B.Com passed with a minimum of 55% marks.
- (For SC/ST candidates, 50% is required. For candidates belonging to Bastar and Surguja divisions, passing B.Com in Second Class is sufficient).
