- 12th (Plus Two) with Biology/Botany/Zoology.
- Must have passed Tamil at SSLC level.
- 2-year Multipurpose Health Worker (Male) / Health Inspector Training Course.
- Passed Higher Secondary (12th).
- 1 or 2-year ANM course from DPH approved institution.
- Valid TN Nurses and Midwives Council registration.
