- Passed Madhyamik (10th) or equivalent examination.
- Successfully completed a Phlebotomy Technician training course from an organization affiliated to/recognized by/run by Paschim Banga Society for Skill Development (PBSSD) or NSDC-India or National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). OR
- Working experience as a Phlebotomist for at least 1 (one) year in a Govt. Health Care Facility/Laboratory or CE licensed Private Health Care Facility/Diagnostic Centre/Laboratory.
