DAV Document Verification Centre 2026: DV Date, Centre List and Documents Required

For DAV Staff Recruitment 2027-28, every candidate must take a printout of the online CBT form and original certificates to a nearby DAV document verification centre between 25 September and 16 October 2026, or the form cannot be finally submitted.

DAV Staff Recruitment 2026 at a glance

DAV College Managing Committee (DAV CMC), New Delhi, started its staff recruitment in September 2026 for the session 2027-28. Candidates first clear a Computer Based Test (CBT). Schools then hold a demo and interview round. Document verification is part of the first phase. It is the step that turns your online form into a final submission.

Posts covered by the CBT

• Teaching: Nursery/Pre-Primary Teacher (female candidates only), Counsellor/Wellness Teacher, PRT, TGT and PGT in many subjects.
• Ministerial and non-teaching: LDC (Accounts), LDC (Administration), UDC, Assistant, Front Office Assistant/Receptionist, Library Assistant, Lab Assistant (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer) and Nurse.

Not every post is vacant in every school or zone. Check your state's newspaper advertisement for the actual vacancies. You can apply for one post only, using your own Registered Mobile Number (RMN). Eligibility is as per DAVCMC, state and CBSE norms.

What happens at the DAV document verification centre

The verification centre is a DAV school. Staff there check your career graph and eligibility. They compare the details in your online form with your original testimonials (certificates).

• If needed, your form can still be corrected during verification.
• When the school is satisfied, it marks your form "VERIFIED AND APPROVED FOR PAYMENT".
• After that, the form is locked. No further changes are allowed.
• The fee payment button opens as soon as the school approves the form.

Who must go for document verification

Every candidate who fills the online CBT form must go. After you submit the form, its status is "FORM READY FOR VERIFICATION". This is only a partial submission. The official pages do not mention any call letter or fixed slot. You visit the nearest verification centre yourself, within the verification window.

DV date and timings

The DAV recruitment home page says verification is going on only till 16 October 2026. Do not wait for the last day.

DAV document verification centre list

The list of verification centres is on the DAV CBT website. After you submit your form, log in and use the "Search DAV verification centre near me" button. You can filter by state and district. On 6 October 2026 this tool listed 614 DAV schools as verification centres in 22 states and union territories.

Many state advertisements also name the centres. In the Uttar Pradesh advertisement, most schools are marked "School is self centre", which means you verify at that school itself.

Delhi verification centres

The Delhi advertisement lists these 18 schools:

Documents required for DAV document verification

• A printout (hard copy) of your online CBT registration form.
• Your original documents, certificates and testimonials.
• Your own mobile phone with your Registered Mobile Number. The centre needs an OTP from this phone to verify you.

DAV has not published a fixed checklist of certificates. The verifier confirms the information in your form against your original testimonials. So carry the originals for the details you entered in the form.

Step by step: from form to final submission

1. Fill the online CBT form on the DAV recruitment website by 8 October 2026 and submit it as "FORM READY FOR VERIFICATION".
2. Check the form. Fix any spelling or typing mistakes yourself before you go.
3. Print the form.
4. Find your nearest centre with "Search DAV verification centre near me".
5. Visit the centre between 25 September and 16 October 2026 with the printout, your originals and your phone.
6. The school marks your form "VERIFIED AND APPROVED FOR PAYMENT". This is the final submission.
7. Pay the Rs 300 CBT fee online within 7 days. Only paid candidates can sit the CBT.

What if you cannot attend document verification?

Verification is mandatory for final submission. Without it, the school cannot approve your form, the payment button does not open, and you cannot take the CBT.

• There is no fixed appointment. You can go on any working day within the window, so pick a day that suits you.
• You can go to any nearby DAV verification centre listed on the website.
• As of 6 October 2026, DAV has not announced any extension or second window. Check the DAV recruitment website for updates.
• For help, use the contact numbers in your state's advertisement. For example, the Haryana advertisement lists regional office numbers and the Uttar Pradesh advertisement lists school numbers.

After document verification

• Pay the fee within 7 days of approval. If you miss this, you cannot appear in the CBT.
• November 2026: choose your exam centre online (first come, first served) and download your admit card.
• December 2026: the CBT is held across India.
• Results come 15 to 20 days after the last CBT. Qualified candidates download a Provisional Eligibility Card (PEC).
• Schools then advertise demo and interview rounds. Only candidates who clear these are offered jobs.
