An official recruitment notification (F.No. 26-1/2018/Con.P/Vzm.) has been released by ICAR - Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI), Vizhinjam Regional Centre for 02 Field Assistants on a contractual basis. These posts are under the consultancy project “Assessment of Marine Fisheries Resources and Fish Landings in the Potential Impact Zones of Vizhinjam International Seaport, Kerala, India”. Candidates aged 21 to 45 years with a Bachelor of Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc.) or B.Sc. in Zoology can email their bio-data using the prescribed proforma to [email protected]. Submission must be on or before 18 November 2026 (05:00 PM). An invitation for an in-person interview on 25 November 2026 (02:00 PM) will be sent to shortlisted candidates.

- A recognized University / Institution must have awarded the Bachelor of Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc.) OR Bachelor of Science in Zoology (B.Sc. Zoology).

- Experience in marine fish taxonomy and field survey work related to fish and fisheries.
