Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW), Varanasi under Indian Railways has released the official employment notice (Sports Quota/02/2026-27) for the recruitment of 25 Posts against Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) for the year 2026-27. The vacancies are distributed across Basketball, Volleyball, Wrestling, and Handball disciplines for Men. Eligible and interested sportspersons can apply online from 12 September 2026 to 12 October 2026 through the official BLW website.

How to Apply Online for BLW Sports Quota Recruitment 2026-27
- Visit the official BLW website at blw.indianrailways.gov.in.
- On the homepage, look for the link “Recruitment for sports quota 2026-27” and click on it.
- Click on “Register Here” to complete your initial online registration.
- Log in with your credentials and fill up the Online Application Form carefully, following all general guidelines.
- Upload a scanned color photograph (3.5 cm x 2.5 cm, JPG/JPEG/PNG format, 100 DPI, without cap and sunglasses, taken within the last 3 months).
- Upload a scanned signature in English or Hindi (running hand) in JPG/JPEG/PNG format.
- Upload clear, scanned copies of essential documents: Date of Birth proof, Educational Qualification Certificate, Sports Achievement Certificate, Caste Certificate, NOC (if applicable), Aadhaar Card, and Fee Payment Deposit Slip.
- Pay the applicable examination fee (₹400 or ₹250) into BLW’s designated SBI account before the closing date. Log in again to update payment details and complete the application.
- Preview the form and submit it. Take a printout of the completed Application Form for future reference (no changes can be made after final submission).
- Ensure all steps (fee payment, document upload, and form submission) are completed before the deadline on 12 October 2026.
