The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) / Education Department, Bihar has released the notification for the School Librarian Eligibility Test 2026 (विद्यालय पुस्तकालयाध्यक्ष पात्रता परीक्षा 2026). Eligible candidates who hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science (B.Lib) and are residents of Bihar can apply online from 01 October 2026 to 21 October 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a citizen of India and a resident (Domicile) of Bihar state.
- Graduation with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized university. (5% relaxation for SC/ST/EBC/BC/Divyang/Female candidates).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science (B.Lib) from a recognized university.

How to Apply for Bihar School Librarian Eligibility Test 2026
- Visit the official portal for registration: sletregistration.cbrt.in.
- Click on “Register” to create a new account by providing basic details and a valid Mobile Number and Email ID to receive the User ID & Password.
- Log in using the User ID and Password sent to your mobile.
- Fill in the application form carefully with your personal, educational, and communication details.
- Upload the required scanned documents: Recent Color Photograph and Signature. 10th Certificate (for Age Proof). Graduation Marksheet/Certificate. B.Lib (Library Science) Degree/Certificate. Domicile Certificate (निवास प्रमाण पत्र) issued by Bihar Govt. Caste/NCL/EWS Certificate (if applicable, for reservation benefits).

- Pay the application fee through the online payment gateway.
- Submit the form and take a printout of the final application form for future reference.
