Directorate of Agriculture, Andaman & Nicobar Administration has released the recruitment notification for Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted) and Group ‘C’ posts including Agriculture Officer, Agriculture Engineering Assistant, and Agriculture Assistant. Eligible candidates can apply online from 24 September 2026 to 23 October 2026.

A&N Agriculture Dept Vacancy 2026: 10 Posts Details & Eligibility
- Master Degree in Agriculture / Horticulture from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Desirable: 2 years’ experience in the field of Agriculture Farm Management/ Agriculture Extension Works/ Plant Protection, etc.
- Degree in Agriculture Engineering from a recognized University/Board.
- Training in Soil and Water Conservation Work from a recognized Institute.
- Desirable: 2 years’ experience in Minor Irrigation or Farm Mechanization Works.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture / Horticulture from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Desirable: 2 years’ experience in Farm Management & Agriculture Extension Works. Knowledge to read and write Hindi.
How to Apply Online for A&N Agriculture Recruitment 2026
- Visit the official A&N e-recruitment portal at erecruitment.andamannicobar.gov.in.
- The online application link will be active from 24 September 2026 (12:00 Noon) to 23 October 2026 (12:00 Midnight).
- Candidates registered with the local Employment Exchange must enter their registration number at the appropriate box while filling online.
- Fill the application form containing Personal details, Post selection, Education Qualification details, and Experience (if any).
- Upload a good quality recent passport-size photograph (20 KB to 50 KB, jpg/jpeg) and signature (10 KB to 20 KB, jpg/jpeg).
- Upload other supporting documents such as proof of age, qualifications, and category as instructed in the online portal (100 KB to 500 KB).
- Pay the requisite application fee of ₹ 100/- (if applicable to your category).
- Review all details carefully before final submission, as no requests for change/correction will be allowed later.
