• Applicants need a graduation degree granted by an Indian law-established university or an equivalent credential acknowledged by the Government. They should also hold an approved training credential such as BTC, BTC (Urdu), Special BTC, 2-year Diploma in Special Education sanctioned by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), 4-year B.El.Ed., or a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) recognized under NCTE Regulations, 2002. Additionally, candidates must have cleared the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) organized by the State Government or Government of India.
• Note: The BTC programme is presently offered as D.El.Ed.

• Aspirants must possess a graduation qualification from an Indian university established by law or a recognized/deemed university/institution, alongside a BTC or D.El.Ed. qualification from an NCTE-recognized course. They must also have qualified the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) held for Classes 01 to 05 by the Government of India or Uttar Pradesh Government.
