UGC-NET December 2026 application correction window announced
NTA has provided registered candidates an opportunity to correct permitted particulars in their UGC-NET December 2026 application forms from 02 November 2026 to 04 November 2026 (up to 11:50 P.M.). Candidates can submit corrections only once, after which the application form will be frozen.
Key points
- Mobile number, email address, permanent and present addresses, photograph and signature cannot be changed.
- Candidates can change only one of these fields: candidate name, father name or mother name.
- Examination city preferences can be changed based on permanent and present addresses. NTA is not bound to allot a preferred city.
- Permitted corrections include date of birth, gender, category, sub-category / PwBD (if not verified by UDID Portal) and subject.
- Any additional fee must be paid through Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking or UPI only. Corrections requiring an additional fee take effect only after successful payment; fees already paid will not be refunded.
- No further correction opportunity will be provided, and no correction will be accepted after 04 November 2026 (11:50 P.M.).

- Make any required corrections carefully in the permitted fields during the correction window and submit only once.
- Pay any applicable additional fee through Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking or UPI.
