SAIL Consultant Recruitment 2026 OUT - 10 Specialist, GDMO Walk in
An official recruitment advertisement (Advt. No. BSL/R-C/2026-09) has been published by Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Bokaro Steel Plant. Qualified medical practitioners, including retired doctors, are invited for a Walk-in-Interview for engagement as Consultants (Specialists & General Duty Medical Officers - GDMO). The engagement is at Bokaro General Hospital (BGH), a multispecialty hospital with 910 beds in Jharkhand. Candidates can download the application proforma and attend on 12 November 2026 if they hold MBBS or MBBS with PG Diploma / PG Degree (MD/MS/DNB) in Orthopaedics, Anaesthesia, or Obstetrics & Gynaecology, along with valid registration with NMC / State Medical Council.

SAIL Bokaro Doctors Vacancy 2026: Total 10 Posts
- MBBS must be obtained from a University / Institute with recognition from MCI / NMC / State Medical Council (SMC).
- AND a recognized University / Institute must have awarded the Post Graduate (PG) Diploma or PG Degree (MD / MS / DNB) in the respective specialty.
- A Medical Registration Certificate, valid with MCI / NMC / State Medical Council, is required.
- Preference is for relevant experience working in a hospital environment.
- The MBBS Degree must be obtained from a University / Institute with recognition from MCI / NMC / State Medical Council (SMC).
- A valid practitioner license is required, along with registration with MCI / NMC / State Medical Council.
- Preference will go to doctors with work experience in clinical / hospital settings.
How to Attend SAIL Bokaro Walk-in Interview 2026
- Open sail.co.in, the official SAIL portal, or get the official advertisement from the careers section of Bokaro Steel Plant.
- Get the official Application Form (Annexure-I) attached to the notification, then print it.
- Use CAPITAL LETTERS to neatly enter all required information: the Post applied for, your Personal details, Date of Birth, Category and Address, followed by Educational qualifications, Experience and Medical Council Registration Number.
- Paste a recent passport-size color photograph into the space provided, then sign across the photograph.
- Keep original documents ready with one set of photocopies that are self-attested: Date of Birth proof (Class 10th / Matriculation Certificate); Pass Certificates and Mark Sheets for MBBS & PG Degree / Diploma; a valid Registration Certificate from MCI / NMC / State Medical Council; certificates of Post-qualification Experience (or a Service Certificate for retired doctors); Caste Certificate (SC/OBC non-creamy layer) / EWS Certificate with an issue date on or after 01/04/2026; valid Photo Identity Proof (Aadhaar Card / PAN Card / Voter ID / Passport / Driving Licence); and, if working in Govt / PSU / Autonomous body, a No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by the present employer.
- Attend the Walk-in Interview in person on 12 November 2026. The venue is Office of the ED (M&HS), Bokaro General Hospital, Bokaro, Jharkhand - 827004.
- On the interview day, complete candidate registration at the venue during 09:30 AM to 02:00 PM.
