- The candidate’s birth date must fall on or after 02.01.2002 and on or before 01.01.2009.
- Sports Quota recruitment allows no relaxation in either the upper or lower age limit.

- A recognized University must have awarded the Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent.

How to Apply Online for RRC SER Sports Quota Recruitment 2026-27
- Open rrcser.co.in, the official website for Railway Recruitment Cell, South Eastern Railway.
- On the homepage, select the link titled “Online/E-Application for Sports Quota (OA) / 2026-27”.
- Select the “New Registration” link. Provide your basic details: Name and Father’s Name, Date of Birth and Community, Email ID and Mobile Number.
- Find your Registration Number and Password in your registered Email and Mobile SMS. Use these to log in.
- Carefully enter your personal details and educational qualifications, followed by sports discipline, playing position and sports achievement details.
- Provide your bank account details for the examination fee refund, which applies on attending the sports trial.
- Upload a scanned color photograph with a white/light background (max 70 KB). Also upload your signature & Left Thumb Impression (LTI) (10-40 KB). Upload self-attested documents in PDF format: Age proof and Education documents, Caste/EBC/Minority certificates, and Sports achievement certificates.
- Pay online using a debit card, credit card or internet banking. The examination fee is Rs. 500/- for UR/OBC and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/Women/Minorities/EBC.
- Use preview to check all columns. Submit before 30 November 2026 (11:59 PM), then keep two printouts of your final submitted application form for future reference.
