• Applicants need to possess at least one specified qualification: 10+2 with 50% marks alongside a 2-year D.El.Ed., 10+2 having 45% marks with a 2-year D.El.Ed. under NCTE Regulations, 2002, 10+2 with 50% marks plus a 4-year B.El.Ed., 10+2 featuring 50% marks with a 2-year Diploma in Special Education, or Graduation combined with a 2-year D.El.Ed. Passing JTET for Classes 1-5 is also mandatory. Residents of Jharkhand holding CTET or a neighboring state’s TET qualification are eligible to apply, provided they clear JTET within the prescribed period.

• Applicants must satisfy one of several educational options: Graduation with a 2-year D.El.Ed., Graduation/PG scoring 50% along with B.Ed., Graduation securing 45% with B.Ed. following NCTE norms, 10+2 having 50% with a 4-year B.El.Ed./B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed., Graduation at 50% alongside B.Ed. (Special Education), or PG at 55% with a 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. Clearing JTET for Classes 6-8 is required. Candidates living in Jharkhand who passed CTET or a neighboring state’s TET can apply as well, on the condition that they pass JTET within the prescribed period.
