JEE (Main) – 2027 (Session 1): NTA allows fresh application forms
NTA has allowed candidates who made errors in their JEE (Main) – 2027 (Session 1) application to submit a fresh form, even if they have already generated an Application Number or paid the examination fee. Only the last form with successful fee payment and a generated Confirmation Page will be valid.
Key points
- If fee payment and Confirmation Page generation are not completed for the fresh form, the earlier form with both steps completed will remain valid.
- Each fresh form will generate a new Application Number. All details, photograph, signature and documents must be entered and uploaded again.
- The examination fee paid for an earlier form will neither be refunded nor adjusted against the fresh application.
- Fresh applications, including fee payment, must be completed by 22nd November 2026 upto 11:50 P.M.; applications with late fee are allowed from 23 November 2026 to 26 November 2026 upto 11:50 P.M.
- Candidates who only need to amend certain details are advised to use the correction facility from 27 November 2026 to 29 November 2026.
- Appearing or attempting to appear using more than one Application Number in the same session will be treated as Unfair Means (UFM). Merely holding multiple Application Numbers will not be treated as UFM.
