How to Apply for IAF Hindi Typist Recruitment 2026
- Download the prescribed application format (Annexure-I), the Acknowledgement Card and the official recruitment notification.
- Use plain A4 size paper for the application form. Type it or write neatly in English or Hindi.
- In the application form's designated box, paste a passport size photograph that is recent and self-attested.
- Include self-attested photocopies of these essential documents: Marksheets and Certificates for Educational Qualification (10th and 12th Standard). For proof of Date of Birth, include a Birth Certificate or 10th Certificate. The OBC Caste Certificate must use the prescribed Central Government format and clearly show Non-Creamy Layer status. Include two identical, recent passport-size photographs matching the photograph pasted on the application form. Add one self-addressed envelope bearing a Rs. 10/- postal stamp, with the address clearly typed/written in English or Hindi. Where applicable, PwBD candidates seeking typing test exemption must include a Medical Certificate (Annexure-II). Include an experience or technical certificate, if any.
- Use separate pages for the application form and the Acknowledgement Card.
- At the top of the envelope, clearly write: “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF HINDI TYPIST AND CATEGORY OBC”.
