- Candidates must have passed Matriculation / 10th Standard through a recognized educational institution or board.
- A training certificate covering Minimum 05 days is required from Directorate of Agriculture & Horticulture, Department of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry & Cooperative, Jharkhand. Preference will be given to candidates whose training exceeds 5 days.
- Candidates must ride a bicycle and climb trees proficiently. The practical skill test carries 10 marks.
- Knowledge of the local language is required.
