CJH Tihar Recruitment 2026 - Apply Now 20 Senior Resident, Junior Resident Posts
An official recruitment notification (Notice No. F.5(4)/RMO/CJH/TIHAR/2026/4013) has been released by the Office of the Resident Medical Officer, Central Jail Hospital, Tihar, New Delhi, under the Prisons Department, Government of NCT of Delhi. It covers 20 ad-hoc vacancies for Senior Residents (SR) and Junior Residents (JR - MBBS) in Delhi Prisons (Tihar, Rohini, Mandoli, and Lampur Detention Centre). Eligible candidates can deliver their offline application form personally by hand or through Speed Post to Prison Head Quarter, Janak Puri, New Delhi on or before 29 October 2026 (05:00 PM). Delhi Prisons SR & JR: Eligibility Criteria
| Senior Resident (SR) | Post Graduate Degree (MD / MS / DNB) or PG Diploma in the concerned specialty. In case PG candidates are unavailable, MBBS with minimum 2 years experience (including 1 year in concerned specialty in Govt./Govt. empanelled hospital) may be considered. Must have valid Delhi Medical Council (DMC) registration and must not have completed 3+1 years of Senior Residency. |

How to Apply for Delhi Prisons SR & JR Recruitment 2026
- Get the official application proforma by downloading the attachment to the notification.
- Enter all required application form details neatly, using capital letters. Include Personal info, Date of Birth, Address and Contact details. Add Educational Qualifications starting from 10th standard onwards, the Internship date and the DMC registration/acknowledgement number.
- Place a recent passport size photograph on the proforma. Include self-attested photocopies of all these supporting documents: Date of Birth Certificate / 10th Pass Marksheet; DMC Registration Certificate or DMC Acknowledgement Receipt; MBBS Degree Certificate with all professional marksheets; for JR posts, Compulsory Internship Completion Certificate; for Foreign Medical Graduates, FMGE Pass Certificate; for SR posts, PG Degree / Diploma Certificate; Experience Certificates, if any; Caste / Non-Creamy Layer / PH / ESM Certificate, if applicable; and a copy of the Aadhaar Card.
- Send the duly completed application form with all enclosures by Speed Post or submit it Personally by Hand on or before 29 October 2026.
