Bihar Vidhan Sabha Vacancy 2026: Total 20 Posts
- Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or an equivalent examination in any stream on or before applications close. The Board or Council must be recognized by a State / Central Government.
- Typing Speed: A speed of 30 words per minute (wpm) is desirable in both Hindi and English.
- The Hindi typing test will use Kurti Dev font on Computer. Hindi & English will each have a 10-minute test, with permissible errors of 1.5%.
- Candidates must have passed Matriculation (Class 10th) or an equivalent examination on or before applications close. The qualification must be from a recognized State or Central Board.
- Citizenship of India is required, along with meeting the prescribed standards for physical & medical fitness.
Selection Process & Examination Pattern
| For Junior Secretariat Assistant (Advt. 01/2026) | Stage 1 (Preliminary OMR Exam): Objective Multiple Choice Test of 100 questions (400 marks) for 2 hours duration. Each question carries 4 marks with a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer. General Studies: 50 Questions General Science & Mathematics: 20 Questions Mental Ability & Logical Reasoning: 30 Questions Stage 2 (Typing Test): Candidates scoring above qualifying cut-offs will be shortlisted up to 10 times the vacancies for Hindi and English computer typing test (30 wpm). Merit List: Final merit list will be prepared based on Preliminary Exam marks of candidates who qualify the typing test. |
