Bihar Library Eligibility Test BLET
- Indian citizenship and Bihar residency are required for candidates. They must hold a Graduation degree from a recognized university with marks of at least 45%. Bihar residents belonging to SC/ST, EBC/BC, PwD, women, and EWS categories receive a 5% relaxation in minimum marks. Candidates holding the qualifications set out in the Bihar School Librarian (Appointment, Transfer, Disciplinary Action and Service Conditions) Rules, 2025 may also take the School Librarian Eligibility Test. Qualifications considered equivalent to Graduation include Aalim awarded by Maulana Mazharul Haque Arabic and Persian University, Patna/Bihar State Madrasa Education Board and Shastri awarded by Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University. A recognized university must also have awarded candidates a Bachelor’s degree in Library Science.
