Bihar BCECEB Senior Resident / Tutor Vacancy 2026: Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must hold a Post Graduate Degree (MD / MS / DNB / DM / M.Ch) in the concerned specialty. The institution must have NMC recognition under the NMC Teachers Eligibility Qualifications / Qualification of Faculty Regulations, 2025.
- If PG degree holders are insufficient, those with a recognized PG Diploma in the concerned discipline may be considered. They receive 10 marks equivalent to a PG degree, but their position in the merit list remains below PG degree holders.
- The Medical Registration Certificate must be valid and issued by NMC / MCI / Bihar State Medical Council.
- Note: Candidates are not eligible if they have already served a 3-year tenure in the concerned subject as Senior Resident/Tutor.
- Candidates must hold a Medical Master of Science (M.Sc.) from a recognized institution in Medical Anatomy / Medical Physiology.
- A Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree is mandatory in the respective subject.

- Only bonafide permanent residents of Bihar can receive reservation benefits. They must hold valid domicile certificates and caste/creamy layer certificates.
How to Apply Online for Bihar BCECEB Senior Resident / Tutor Recruitment 2026
- Step 1: Open bceceboard.bihar.gov.in, the official website for Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB).
- Step 2: Open the “Online Application Forms” portal. Then click the “Online Portal of Senior Resident / Tutor under Health Dept.” link.
- Step 3: Choose “Apply for Senior Resident / Tutor”. Then click the button marked “New Registration”.
- Step 4 (Step-1 Registration): Provide basic personal details along with an active mobile number and email ID. To generate your Registration Number and Password, verify the OTP received on your mobile and email.
- Step 5 (Step-2 Multi-Step Application Form): Use your Registration No. and Password to log in. Choose the Specialty / Department for your application. Provide your personal particulars, domicile and category details, and communication addresses. Add detailed educational qualifications, including MBBS passing details, the attempt certificate, MD/MS/DNB/Diploma marks and registration details. Upload scanned copies of your signature and a high-contrast colour photograph, following the specified dimensions.
- Step 6 (Step-3 Preview & Final Submit): Carefully check the full application preview. Click “Back to Edit” for any corrections needed. After verifying the details, check the declaration, then choose “Final Submit & Proceed to Payment”.
- Step 7 (Step-4 Payment of Counselling Fee): The Counselling Fee is Rs. 2250/-. Complete payment before the deadline of 23 November 2026 (11:59 PM), using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
- Step 8 (Step-5 Confirmation Page): Save and download both the Confirmation Page and Fee Receipt. Keep the hard copies safely for production during Document Verification / Counselling. Do not send them by post to the Board’s office.
